Washington University promotes high-quality campus computing.
At the center of this initiative is the requirement that undergraduate students new to Washington University in St. Louis own laptop computers that meet University specifications. If a student’s technology is insufficient, Tech Den will recommend upgrades to existing technology, a replacement machine, or another solution to meet that student’s technology needs.
This website was initially created to provide the minimum and recommended specifications that students’ laptops should meet, provide a central location for specific requirements that the individual WashU schools may have, and provide links to specific models that meet those requirements at a competitive price.
