WashU Tech Den hosts Open House

WashU Tech Den hosted its official open house on May 31st, 2022. A homecoming event was hosted to welcome all back to campus as well as give graduates, professional, and non-residential students an opportunity to engage with the staff, space, and resources provided by Tech Den. The showcase included a WashU-themed 3D putt-putt course, tours of the service desk and graduate computer lab, virtual reality demonstrations, and a digital yearbook created by Student Technology Services (STS) featuring the graduating student technical staff.

WashU’s collaborative community and representatives from across campuses, schools, and businesses braved the heat for this warm, yet festive event. Among the participants were summer students, school administrators, faculty and staff, LaunchCode staff, as well as senior leaders such as Vice Chancellor for Technology and Chief Information Officer, Jessie Minton, and Chancellor Andrew Martin. Fun, food, and friendship were had by all! The open house was an excellent way to kick this summer off for STS!
